This is a new year and I wanted to start it off by sharing our 2019 Christmas that we enjoyed in Gatlinburg, TN. It was a blast! First of all, the owner didn't decorate where we stayed so we brought our own decor... Our Charlie Brown Christmas Tree!
We found an old mill that is getting renovated and checked it out, I think they are going to make it a general store. Beautiful!
We went to the Arcade in Gatlinburg on Christmas Eve where we played skeeball, Lacy played basketball and I played my favorite game....Pinball! It wasn't just a pinball game, it was the Wizard of Oz! It was so much fun that we returned on Christmas morning and I felt like I was a child again! You have to try that if you go.
I'm not much of a shopper but we found the Christmas Tree Store and I fell in LOVE. It was ALL about decorations-whatever type of decorations you like. You must stop in there when you visit the area, it is well worth it. We picked up a little fuzzy bear ornament so that we could add it onto our tree. That's my souvenir when I visit places, not a big sticker fan.
This was the first time I have EVER had Christmas away from the place where I live, it was different and we had fun but as Dorothy says in the Wizard of Oz, there's no place like home.
Thank you for stopping by, please give me some feedback about my blog please.
